Since 11 September, Euthalia Fragrances has a new address: Piazza della Meridiana 17r, in Genoa’s old town. It’s our flagship store, and we opened it with a party open to the public. If you’re looking for a home fragrance shop in Genoa where you can try scents before choosing one, now you know where to find us.
A space inside Palazzo della Meridiana
The shop is on the ground floor of Palazzo della Meridiana, a sixteenth-century residence among the Palazzi dei Rolli, named after the large sundial painted on its façade.
As a Genoese company, opening in one of the Rolli palaces in the year of their twentieth UNESCO anniversary means a lot to us. The square sees both visitors heading to the Strada Nuova museums and locals crossing the centre every day.
Our first flagship, in Via di Scurreria, was our home for the first eight years of our life and will always have a place in the story of our brand. Compared with that shop, the new one has three times the floor space and three large windows looking onto the square. For the first time we can show every Euthalia Fragrances collection together, in a larger space that suits them better: reed diffusers, candles and room sprays.
The design and fit-out were carried out in-house, to give our new space an even more personal stamp. We set out to make the most of the rooms we had, choosing materials, arrangements and installations that carry our message. The display is minimal and elegant, but every product has its place.

A sorbet made from the Genova fragrance
For the opening we worked with Gelateria Profumo, holder of the Tre Coni award from Gambero Rosso, Italy’s leading food guide. Together we created a sorbet using the same botanicals as our Genova fragrance: Ligurian herbs and citrus.
The Genova fragrance opens with basil, mint, eucalyptus, orange and bergamot, has a heart of rosemary, lavender, coriander, pine and clove, and settles on thyme, marjoram, sage and jasmine.
We chose sorbet over gelato because, with no milk, everyone could try it, including vegans and people who are lactose intolerant.
On the Genova Profumata route
We opened the day after Genova Profumata 2026 began, and Palazzo della Meridiana is one of the buildings along the scented route through the old town. Outside the shop, for the whole event, we’re diffusing the Genova fragrance, the same one used along the streets. The route covers five kilometres of the old town, involves more than 300 businesses and runs until 18 October. If you missed the press conference, here’s our account of the official presentation.
Inside, the fragrances will change periodically, rotating through the collection.
Why visit the shop
Choosing a home fragrance in person is easier. You can smell how a scent behaves in a room, compare several and ask for advice. In a home fragrance shop in Genoa like ours you can also work out whether a diffuser or a candle suits your home better. Still undecided between the two? Our guide will help you choose.
Our room sprays come in the same fragrances as the diffusers. They work well for quick, targeted use, or as a way to try a scent in your own home before committing to a diffuser.
The scent of the route is available as the Genova reed diffuser and the Genova room spray. If you’re curious about how we develop a new fragrance, from first idea to finished bottle, we’ve written about it here.
